Common questions

Do I need a card?
Yes. Stripe holds your card upfront. This is intentional — it filters for customers who are evaluating Forge seriously. Your card is not charged until day 15.
Can I try multiple tiers?
You get one trial per Stripe account (enforced by Stripe Radar via email and card fingerprint). Pick the tier that fits your situation. If you are unsure, Pro is the best starting point for developers who want CI mode and multi-repo search.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you do nothing, your subscription activates and you are charged on day 15. You receive a new license key by email that is valid for your full subscription term. If you cancel before day 15, you are not charged and Forge falls back to Community Mode (1 repo, core search, CLI only).
Does Forge phone home during the trial?
Forge sends a weekly license health check — a hash of your license key, your client version, and your platform. No code, queries, or file paths are ever transmitted. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
How do I cancel?
Visit your customer portal and cancel the subscription before day 15. No hoops, no support ticket.
