50% off your first year
Solo drops from $19/mo to $9.50/mo. Pro from $39/mo to $19.50/mo. Team the same, per-user. Discount applies for 12 full months from launch day — no expiring coupon windows or hidden renewal hikes on our list price.
Lock in 50% off your first year and a price that never goes up — even as we raise rates for new customers.
We're building Canopy with a small group of developers who commit before launch. You get a real discount, a private Discord channel with the Ironpine Labs team, and the knowledge that you're shaping the product. We get paid early, get real feedback, and launch with customers who've already battle-tested the tool.
First cohort applications are open · 50 seats available
See the Founding Member Program Addendum for complete program terms.
This isn't a beta program — it's a paid commitment that comes with meaningful perks in exchange for your early support. Canopy is in final pre-release polish; we expect to ship in mid-2026.

Your founding rate is yours for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. As Canopy matures and we raise prices for new customers in future years, your rate doesn't change — you pay what you signed up with. (If you cancel and want back in later, you'd rejoin at the then-current public rate — the founding rate rewards continuous support.)
Dedicated Discord channel shared only with Founding Members and the Ironpine Labs team. Not a Discord user? Email works too. Monthly group feedback call. Your bug reports and feature asks skip the public queue. This isn't a Zendesk ticket — it's a direct line.
Founding Member requests jump to the front of the roadmap review. If three Founders want the same thing, it moves to the top of the roadmap review. Community feedback still matters, but your signal carries weight because you're paying early and working directly with the team.
If you want to write a blog post, record a short video, or give a conference talk about your Canopy workflow after using it for at least 60 days, we'll feature you on a permanent Customer Stories page on canopy.ironpinelabs.com — with a link back to your work, your GitHub, your company. Real portfolio link + SEO value for you; genuine social proof for Canopy. No pressure — skip this entirely and you still get every other perk.
Pick your tier when you apply. You can switch up later (Solo → Pro, Pro → Team) and keep the 50% off relative to the current tier's public price.

Minimum 3 seats. If you're 1–2 developers, Solo or Pro is the better fit.
Click the apply button. Your mail client opens with a pre-filled subject and a few questions about tier, team size, use case, and whether you're open to sharing your story later. Takes 2 minutes.
Every application is read by the team. No form letter. If you're a good fit — building something serious, not evaluating a dozen tools at once, genuinely excited about local code intelligence — you'll get a confirmation and a Discord invite to the Founders channel. If you're not a fit (e.g., you want cloud or a language we won't support), we'll tell you that too. We aim to reply within a week.
At launch (target mid-2026), you get a license key, access to your tier's features, and your first Stripe invoice at the founding rate. No deposit or pre-payment required today — we only start charging when the product is in your hands.
Your founding rate stays yours for as long as your subscription stays active. When we raise prices for new customers in 2027, 2028, and beyond, you keep paying what you signed up with. Two caveats: if you cancel and come back later, you rejoin at the current public rate (the founding rate ended with your subscription). And if we introduce a fundamentally new tier above your current one, that new tier is at its normal price — you can switch up if you want, but the 50%-off-locked-in is specifically on the Solo/Pro/Team ladder that exists today.
No. You apply now (free, no commitment), I confirm, and you hold a seat. When we launch publicly, I send you a Stripe checkout link at the founding rate and you pay your first month. Nothing is billed until the product is in your hands.
Target: mid-2026. I'm running through final review, security audit, and the four-platform release CI pipeline. Check the roadmap for current status. Founding Members get a heads-up email two weeks before the public launch date.
You'll get honest monthly updates on progress. Because nothing is billed until we launch, a delay doesn't cost you anything — your seat stays reserved at the founding rate (50% off), and your first real invoice only lands on the day Canopy ships. To be explicit: a missed deadline does not make the product free. It just means your pay-start date moves with our launch date.
If the wait doesn't work for you, withdraw your application at any time before launch with nothing owed either direction. This is a pre-launch reservation, not a deposit.
Totally fine. The share-your-story perk is 100% optional — skip it and you still get 50% off, grandfathered pricing, Discord access, and priority feature requests. I'd rather have quiet Founders who actually use the tool than a bunch of forced testimonials.
Yes. Upgrade Solo → Pro or Pro → Team any time. Your 50% discount moves with you relative to the new tier's public price. Downgrading also works but keeps the founding rate for the lower tier too (so Solo $9.50/mo not the public $19/mo).
We don't have a formal program yet, but we're open to case-by-case for active OSS maintainers (meaningful commits to a notable project in the last 6 months) and students working on serious projects. Email hello@canopy.ironpinelabs.com with context: link to your GitHub / project, what you're building, and why Canopy would help. I'll work something out with you.
OSS/student pricing is evaluated separately from the Founding Member program — it doesn't count against the 50 founding seats.
30-day full refund after launch, no questions asked. Cancel and you're out. The founding program doesn't require any long-term commitment — it just offers a locked-in rate if you decide to stick around.
One note: a refund resets everything, including your founding rate. If you refund and want to come back later, you'd re-sign up at the then-current public rate like any other customer. The founding rate rewards people who stay — refunding is you saying "this isn't for me, thanks," and that's genuinely fine.
The founding price is only available before public launch. After we flip the switch, new customers pay standard rates.
